The 2025 Africa Cup of Nations will be held in the Kingdom from December 21, 2025, to January 18, 2026. Morocco is thus returning to host the tournament, 37 years after the 1988 edition, won by Cameroon. Note that the opening match will be between Morocco and the Comoros on December 21, 2025, at the Moulay Abdellah stadium in Rabat.
With less than 100 days to go until kickoff, Morocco is preparing to host the 35th edition of the Africa Cup of Nations from December 21, 2025 to January 18, 2026. A return eagerly awaited for thirty-seven years, it promises to be a major sporting and festive event on the continent.
The countdown has begun: in less than 100 days, Morocco will become the beating heart of African football. For the first time since 1988, the Cherifian Kingdom will host the continent’s most prestigious competition, confirming its status as a welcoming land and a source of sporting passion.
The Confederation of African Football (CAF) marked this symbolic milestone by unveiling the official tournament poster. It emphasized that this 35th edition aims to surpass the records of the previous one, held in Côte d’Ivoire in 2023. That tournament captivated more than 1.5 billion viewers worldwide and generated more than 2.4 billion digital interactions, establishing the CAN as a global event.
Beyond the numbers, AFCON 2025 promises to be a celebration of sport, fraternity, and African identity. Moroccan stadiums will vibrate to the rhythm of fans from across the continent, while the entire world will witness the excellence and creativity of African football.
The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has announced the appointment of MATCH Hospitality as the Exclusive Supplier of the Official Hospitality Program for the TotalEnergies CAF Africa Cup of Nations, which will take place in Morocco from December 21, 2025 to January 18, 2026.

As the 100-day countdown to the kick-off of the TotalEnergies CAF Africa Cup of Nations Morocco 2025 begins, the Confederation of African Football (CAF) and the Local Organising Committee (LOC) have unveiled the ticket sales process and a series of initiatives to enhance the fan experience.
Ticket sales will begin on September 25, 2025. As of today, CAF and LOC are opening the pre-registration phase for this first stage.

Supporters can register online between September 12 and 24, 2025, to receive notification when sales open.
Visa, official partner of CAF and global leader in digital payments, will benefit from an exclusive two-day presale period reserved for Visa cardholders. This presale will take place from September 25 at 12:00 p.m. (Moroccan time) until September 27, 2025 at 12:00 p.m.
The general public sale will open on September 27 at 2:00 p.m. (Moroccan time).
CAF will also announce a new hospitality partner on Monday, September 15, 2025.
Yalla App: a major innovation
Another important new feature is the Yalla app, which will launch on September 25, 2025, and will become the access platform for all fans. Each ticket holder will have to register to obtain a Fan ID, which is essential for accessing stadiums and fan zones.
The app will also offer a specially designed e-visa for the AFCON, allowing fans from around the world to apply online. It will offer real-time updates, exclusive content, and personalized information, making Morocco 2025 the most connected edition in the history of the AFCON.

First phase:
From September 25 (from 12:00 p.m.) to September 27 (until 12:00 p.m.): exclusive presale for Visa cardholders
From September 27 at 2:00 p.m.: general public sales (all payment methods accepted), limited to 30% of stadium capacity
Second phase:
From October 21 (from 12:00) to October 23 (until 12:00): Second Visa presale window
From October 23 at 2:00 p.m.: general public sale (all payment methods accepted), 30% capacity added
Third phase:
From November 21: general sale for all matches (all payment methods accepted)
Royal Air Maroc, the official global partner and official airline of AFCON 2025, will support fans with enhanced support. More than 660 additional flights will be added, increasing capacity by more than 50%. Special offers will be offered to the African diaspora transiting through Casablanca, transforming these stopovers into opportunities to attend the matches.
The Official Hospitality Program will include private spaces and shared lounges, designed to enrich the stadium experience:
